had a smashing day yesterday. the kind which takes your mind off everything. timely, indeed. played bball and a bit of soccer, which i thoroughly enjoyed. it was nice, seeing all those who used to play together back in the old rj. same people, same thing we doing, just a different place. then watched the eye 10 with rencong. it's a funny horror show. seriously, it somewhere in between. and the moral of the story is not to buy cheap books from ulu bookshops. ha. go watch it, it's not bad. considering this coming from someone who quite dislikes scary movies. haha.

was a smashing day yesterday. that kind of day which takes your mind off everything. timely, indeed. played lots of bball and some soccer which i thoroughly enjoyed. it was nice, seeing all those who always played back in the old rj coming back to the new campus. same people, same thing we do, different place. then went to watch the eye 10 with rencong. it was a funny horror show. seriously, between a comedy and a horror. go watch, it's not bad. considering this coming from someone who doesn't particularly enjoy scary movies. haha.

it's another sian day in camp. hmm come to think of it, which day isn't? ha. and today i learnt that i'd most likely be posted back to clementi camp to work in HQ. apparently they look at education level and scores and they like to keep those they think are the academically better ones in HQ. so i'll prob end up there. argh perhaps i can ask to be sent to bedok camp. some SIB camp. but the bad thing is that at bedok we have to answer to many bosses instead of at HQ where there's like one. that's the thing. yuck. can i not have any bosses? sucks shit, haha. anyway today was quite a nice day. yep, sian but nice. talking to the corporals there. like spent the whole afternoon talking cock with them, learning more about life at school and at camp. like who doesn't miss school when in army? and like there's actually a chance i will become admin specialist. which means i get to be a third sergeant. cool huh. haha it's just that we are supposed to be stuck at corporal you see, and anything better would be nice..gee. though the difference is not that much. ok i'll cut short the entry and go swimming. weee

'Tim's Cascade Style Jalapeno Chips' are super nice, i just realised. haha though super HOT too! roxy..haha.

i want to buy this pair of dunks dunk low premium(grunge edition). very very ex though. been eyeing it for a long time but no size and very costly. sigh.
spent a whole day listening to lectures today. or rather it's called induction programme. which basically means sitting in the auditorium the entire day and keep awake while the speakers do like a relay. a marathon relay. at least lunch today was quite nice. some horfun thing. i pray to God that i'll be posted to bedok camp, because it's so much nearer. saves a whole lot on travel time and money. i trust that the Lord knows what is best for me, and that He will provide. so i'm somewhat glad that i can sleep in my own bed every day. of course, i always wish that i could have not have that injury then maybe i could have gone on to achieve better things in army. well, He has a plan for me. He has a plan for everyone.

back from a good hard swim just. some exercise is good, will attempt to pick up running some time. and when my shoulder gets better go to the gym. still thinking of whether to go for the shoulder op. don't want ugly scars though. hah. okay now i'm going to the library and parkway parade to look around. not in the mood to spend though, which is really good.
i'm really beginning to dread what my life will be for the next almost 2 years. i can't begin to imagine. well i guess it can be made interesting, life outside of army. army..why am i starting to hate this word. sometimes i wonder.
haah i made a tagboard for fun. though there wasn't much fun involved. oh well anyway i got a day off tomorrow. which is quite good. supposedly a welcome gift for us. not bad huh. planning to slack at home and maybe gym a little. and swim if i can. i swam that day and it was roxy. i love swimming. hehe.
today was such a waste of time, i can't think of any other way to waste time. serious. like we went there in the morning and i digress, i got screwed for not greeting some warrant officer. my fault. ok back to the point. they gave us this form to fill up , the one we fill in for our interview. then we waited. and then waited. ages later, they collected it. then we waited some more before someone brought us to the guardroom where guess what, we waited somemore. after a while we ewre brought around the place for an orientation walk. some walk it was. halfway we were asked to do some sai kang. wonderfully free labour. we went canteen and walked around till lunchtime. and by the way luch was bad. makes me miss tekong cookhouse. damn. and after lunch,we were told to relax in the guard room, where there were beds. so we sleeping around until 1645 when they dismissed us. can you say utter waste of time. today was the day i felt like a real soldier man. screw it. ming wei gave good advice. suck thumb.
i totally hate being pes c. totally. like it gives you a sense of being useless. nope correction, being very useless. it sucks big time. like i know i am capable of doing other things. wait, maybe that's what i want to think. maybe we are useless after all. to the saf that is.

got a new template for myself. kinda pleased. ok so i'd better go sleep now. now that i've got to report tomorrow. start of army life again. hope and i pray that the Lord will surround me with good people. at dear clementi camp. which is so far away!! you know everytime i think clementi camp, the next thing that comes to mind is damn far. clementi, damn far. ok you ge tthe idea. i've got to go. see ya around.
zhi kai has got to find himself again. furthermore, he's a busy guy who has to report to clementi camp tomorrow. yes, he has to go all the way from the east to the west. to be an admin support assistant. which basically means clerk in non-saf language. he is very unhappy that he has got to travel so far. angry in fact. however, some of the anger has diminished when he called the unit and realises there are persons of the other gender working there. how many army men have that privilege, he wonders. anyway, zhi kai is currently searching for his refresh button, the one where you press when you want to feel refreshed.
